As part of the account security features, Facebook has rolled in the new feature of associating trusted computers and mobile devices to an account, which you generally use to access your Facebook account. You can name a new computer (ex: Home, Office, College) to show up in the list of trusted devices that access your account.
With this security feature, you’ll be able to see all the computers and mobile devices currently associated with your account along with your recent account activity.
This helps you get the knowledge of any unfamiliar device logging in to your account and cut it immediately by using “end activity” option provided therein.
To avail all the above mentioned security features, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Facebook account and head on to account settings.
- Then under My Account Setting, go to Account Security and click Change to show up all the security features you’re looking for.
Here you can also set-up login alerts to your account which notifies you whenever a new computer or mobile device logs into your account.
